Did you know that May is National Preservation Month? Thousands of people participate annually in Preservation Month celebrations.

As we look back over the past two decades, we’re proud to say that Old North has greeted over 10 million visitors and hosted field trips with more than 1,000 school groups. Reflecting on last month’s devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and looking ahead to the next 250 years of history here in Boston, we are calling on  corporate, civic, and political leadership to pool resources and prioritize the preservation of our iconic buildings. This is a moment to work alongside heritage and historic sites and to build public programs promoting our legacy of active citizenship.

This month, in conjunction with Historic Preservation Month, the Paul Revere Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting their third annual Boston, Preserved party to raise money for the Old North Foundation’s preservation of the Old North Church. If you’re local to Boston, we invite you to join us and enjoy an after-work colonial-themed cocktail to honor the role of historic preservation in protecting Boston’s great architectural and historical assets. This is an open event and all those who support our cause of preserving America’s revolutionary past are welcome. Admission is $35 and includes light appetizers and 5 door prize tickets. You can buy tickets here.

Not able to join us? You can still support the mission & preservation of the Old North Church & Historic Site by making a tax-deductible gift today or by sharing your photo of Old North on social media using #ThisPlaceMatters
