A Community of Lantern Holders | #Findyourlantern
On April 18th, 2020, two lanterns were lit in the steeple of Old North Church to mark the anniversary of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride. The lanterns remained lit on April 19 as we honored essential workers, medical professionals & first responders on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and on Monday April 20 to commemorate Patriots Day with unity and solidarity.
The story of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride is a story of a community coming together to help a cause. So throughout the weekend, we called on our supporters & friends to join our team of lantern holders, and become beacons of hope & light in their own communities. We were moved by the amount of people we were able to connect with through the #FindYourLantern project, and we’re thrilled to show off all the lovely creations we were sent!
