Colonialfest: Saturday, July 2nd 12-4pm

Please join Old North Church & Historic Site, in partnership with Harborfest and the Mars Corporation on July 2nd for a day of family fun! From 12- 4 pm, Old North will be celebrating Harborfest colonial-style! Come join our staff and friends as we celebrate Boston. Experience colonial life through hands-on activities: tricorne hat-making, fife lessons, sewing projects, quill writing, and chocolate making demonstrations with our friends from the American Heritage Chocolate Division of Mars Corporation! The festival will be taking over our site, with activities taking place in the Saint Francis terrace behind the church, in the Bigelow courtyard, and on the Unity Street side of the Paul Revere Mall.

Our regular programming will continue throughout the day. The church will be open for tours, the Printing Office of Edes & Gill will be printing the Declaration of Independence, and Captain Jackson’s Historic Chocolate shop will have tasty treats made by local chocolate makers for sale!
