Health and Safety Guidelines for Visitors

The Old North Church & Historic Site is committed to bringing you the best experience possible while continuing to follow health and safety guidelines. We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask visitors to leave if they do not follow the City of Boston’s guidelines.

Proof of Vaccination

Beginning January 15, 2022, visitors are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter certain indoor spaces in Boston, including all museums.

The requirement is age-dependent and will be phased in over time:

January 15: People age 12+ must show proof of one dose of vaccine

February 15: People age 12+ must show proof of full vaccination

March 1: Children age 5-11 must show proof of one dose of vaccine; People age 12+ must show full proof of vaccination

May 1: People age 5+ must show proof of full vaccination

Please note that K-12 school field trips are exempt from these requirements.

Vaccination verification can be done with:

  • a CDC vaccination card
  • a digital image of your CDC card
  • an image of any official immunization record, or
  • the City of Boston B Together app or any other COVID vaccine verification app.

Learn more about the City of Boston’s public health order on their website.
